Soon after graduating high school, Mike Chambers took a job at a racecar shop to fine-tune his skills working on & building racecars.  He currently works at Chambers' Auto, a family owned business, where he is not only a manager, but repairs street cars as well as repairs and sets-up racecars of his fellow racers.  During his spare time, he works on and builds the Tech Racing cars from the ground up.  He also builds many of his own suspension parts as well.  Mike is a true racer and is knowledgeable in every aspect of racing.

Racing History

2007: Late Model Stock Car Division, Orange County Speedway, Ace Speedway, South Boston Speedway

2006: Late Model Stock Car Division, Orange County Speedway, nine starts, one top five, six top tens, nine top fifteens.

2005: Late Model Stock Car Division, South Boston Speedway, three starts, one top fifteen.

2004: Late Model Stock Car Division, Southern National Speedway / South Boston Speedway, eight starts, one top ten, six top fifteens.

2003:  Late Model Stock Car Division, Orange County Speedway, 20 starts with ten top 10 finishes.  Finished 10th in the points standings out of 43 drivers.  Ventured out to Coastal Plains Raceway.

2002:  Late Model Stock Car Division, Orange County Speedway, 8 starts with three top 10 finishes and four top fifteen finishes.  Second runner-up in the Most Popular Driver Standings for LMSC, which is voted upon by the fans.  Ventured out to Coastal Plains Raceway and South Hampton Motor Speedway.

2001:  Late Model Stock Car Division, Orange County Speedway, 20 starts with five top 10 finishes, eighteen top 15 finishes.  Finished 10th in points. 

2000:  Late Model Stock Car Division, Orange County Speedway, 14 starts with two top 10 finishes, ten Top 15 finishes.  Finished 16th in points out of 45 drivers.  (Rookie Season)

1999:  Limited Sportsman Division, Orange County Speedway, 11 starts with seven top 5 finishes including one win, four top 3 finishes. Finished third in points.
            Late Model Pro Trucks, Orange County Speedway, 3 starts with two top 5 finishes including one top 3 finish.

1998:  Limited Sportsman Division, Orange County Speedway, 12 starts with seven top 5 finishes including three front row starts, one win, and three top 3 finishes.  Finished third in points, and was the only driver to complete all laps of competition.

1997:  Pure Stock Division, Orange County Speedway, 9 starts with nine top 5 finishes including seven front row starts, two poles, one win, and three runner-up finishes.  Co-champion of the division and most improved in points. Only driver at OCS to finish in the top 5 every race.

1996:  Pure Stock Division, Orange County Speedway, 13 starts with nine top 5 finishes; two poles; six front-row starts; two runner-up finishes; tied for third in point standings.

1995:  Pure Stock Division, Orange County Speedway, 11 starts with nine top 5's; two front row starts; 5th in points; Rookie of the Year.  Attended the Richard Petty Driving Experience at Lowe's (Charlotte) Motor Speedway.  One of the top five fastest in speed out of 60 participants.

1994:  Go Kart Stock Class, Orange County Kartway, 12 starts; three wins; seven top 5 finishes; finished 7th in points out of 40 drivers.

1993:  Go Kart Stock Class, Orange County Kartway, Rookie of the Year; three top 5 finishes.

1992:  Pit Crew Member for Late Model Stock Car Driver.  The team finished with top 5 average for the season.
